The Kids-N-Hope Foundation Donates $602,500 to Children’s Health and Life Service Organizations and Local Area Hospitals

The Kids-N-Hope Foundation has announced $602,500 in annual contributions to support their mission of funding music therapy, music programs, and child life services through organizations and local area hospitals, including Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Music Therapy Program. Since its inception over 25 years ago, the Foundation has raised and donated over $3.7 million for pediatric therapy programs in the Philadelphia region, including more than $3.3 million for CHOP.

American Heritage Credit Union employees and membership collected over 10,000 pounds of food and donated $23,000 to various charities and organizations in the community during its 10th annual Spirit of Giving Food Drive. Additionally, over 200 meal boxes and $20,000 worth of $100 visa gift cards were donated to help local families this season as well.

American Heritage Credit Union celebrates its annual giving initiatives through its Adopt-A-Family programs and donation drives to embody the credit union “people helping people” philosophy this holiday season. Over $22,800 was raised throughout the year through 23 fundraising programs hosted by the Adopt-A-Family Program. These funds are used to purchase gifts and essentials for over 150 individuals in need.
American Heritage Hosts 16th Annual Grand Illumination with Fireworks Display and Holiday Performances

American Heritage Credit Union kicked off its 16th Annual Grand Illumination on Saturday, November 25th. Over 25,000 community members enjoyed the illumination of American Heritage’s main campus along with free holiday performances, a firework display, and a grand prize drawing for a 2024 Chevy Trax awarded to an American Heritage member.
American Heritage Credit Union’s Green Team Wraps Up 2023 Seasonal Initiatives

American Heritage Credit Union’s Green Team hosted two Adopt-A-Highway Fall Clean-Up events in Northeast Philadelphia and Lansdale, PA during September and October. The committee also held its 6th Annual Coat Drive to support the Military Order of the Purple heart, which collected 150 new and gently used coats. The committee also collected 120 gently used sneakers during the donation drive to benefit Sanative Soles, which supports marginalized youth in the community.
