At American Heritage, your invested funds are insured up to $250,000 by the National Credit Union Association. Your IRA and IRA Certificates are now insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA, a U.S. government agency. Plus, American Heritage offers an additional $250,000 worth of insurance provided by the Excess Share Insurance Corporation, a private insurance company, on your IRA and IRA Certificates. That means your retirement savings are insured up to $500,000.
